At the SUCCESSFUL completion of this program the participant will be issued with a STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT from the following Training Package: 

TDT 20202 Certificate I in Transport & Distribution (Road Transport)

This program has been show to be effective in reducing the cost of vehicle accidents across a fleet of vehicles.

The program focuses on five driving habits which are so important in a skilled, smooth driving performance. 

The Learning process encourages participants to enjoy being praised for excellent driving , this enables drivers to feel more confident and safer.

FORMAT FOR LARGE GROUPS:

For Companies, Government Departments and other large groups, we will tailor a format to suit your specific needs and quote to deliver that program.

Our most popular format is a one theory day when you have all participants present plus one-day-practical driver-training program for each sub-group of three participants with one instructor and vehicle.  

Agenda format:

Theory: about five hours conducted on one day with all participants present.  Develops a driver's awareness of situations in which accidents are most likely to occur and promotes Five Safe Driving Habits to control these situations.  An exercise in recognising the likely causes of a crash list and develop strategies to avoid/prevent these causes.   Alcohol / fatigue and other issues as your Organisation specifies.

Practical: Each sub-group of three with one instructor and vehicle for one day. 

1.   Three exercises are covered: Systematic driving in an urban area (Exercise Three in “Class Driving Made Easy).

2.   Highway driving (Exercise Fifteen in “Class Driving Made Easy”).

3.   An off-road exercise concerning reversing and manoeuvring (Exercise Six in “Class Driving Made Easy”).

Fee:

The fee is $400 per instructor day. We can quote for the supply of vehicles if you wish.

FORMAT FOR SMALL GROUPS:

For groups of three to nine an abridged version may be run on one day only:

Theory Session:

A One-hour theory session commence at 8am with the theory session until 9am, develops a driver's awareness of situations in which accidents are most likely to occur and promotes Five Safe Driving Habits to control these situations.

Practical Training:

The afternoon practical session is the same as the practical above.
